As a good Chilean, I decided at the last minute.
Obviously, studying food engineering was not my only choice, ever since I was a
small child I imagined myself in different professions as an astronomer or
archaeologist, but never investigate. Until the time came for the truth, time
to take one of the most difficult decisions of my life. A decision that made my
parents feel proud.
I began to investigate the program of different
universities, beginning with those of astronomy and archeology. But I did not
like it too much. Then my father helped me with my choice, mentioning
engineering and its different variables. Deciding in food engineering at the
University of Chile, mainly for his field of work and the employability he had.
My job
expectations have always been the same. I want a stable job, in which I have
time to share with family. But first, I must overcome the difficult study
program I decided to take. It is really stressful how difficult it is, but I
made very good friends who have helped me throughout the program.
